Contract Verification at the Philippine Consulate takes 7-working-days, their working day is from Monday to Thursday only. Once verified contract is out, we will sort out the documents to make sure that all information and requirements are complete before submitting to the Hong Kong Immigration Department. Emry's Consultant need at least 1 to 2 days to put everything in order prior to submission of visa application to the Immigration Department.

Upon submission to the Hong Kong Immigration Department, assessment takes 4 to 6 weeks, approval could be shorter than that however, in some cases it can be longer if Immigration Officer ask for more documents prior to issuance of working Visa. It is advisable for the employer to comply. Write complete information on the forms provided & give sufficient documents as
required by the Hongkong Immigration to avoid delay in your application.

NOTE: Within 2 to 3 weeks time or so after submission of documents to the Hong Kong Immigration, EMRY'S Agency will receive the acknowledgement letter, this letter have a Reference number on it beginning with EHEFxxxxxx (---).
If for some reason the employer received this letter, is important that the employer call the agency to give this reference number to be used to follow up the visa application and to update employer's hiring record with us.

Once the employer received the file no, wait for another 3 weeks then check from the HongKong Immigration website for visa approval
[you must remember your file no. and the birth date of your helper].

Once original visa label issued & already sent to our Counter part Agency in the Philippines , it will take 5 to 7 working days before they can deploy the helper; this waiting period already include sending of original visa to the Philippine agency, issuance of OEC (Overseas Employment Certificate or Exit Clearance), pregnancy test of the helper done day before the helper's departure and then the booking of applicant's airline tickets .

Reminder: All domestic helpers bound for Hong Kong need OEC , without OEC domestic helper can not leave the country. Its is being issued by POEA (Philippine Overseas Employment Administration)

Q5. What is AIRLINE DIFFERENCE ?
Airline difference means the price of actual airline ticket is higher than allocated ticket cost of HK$800.00 which is included in your direct hire processing fee of HK$6,680.00.

Some elements that force us to ask employers to pay airline difference i.e. (increased rate in global oil prices, high season price increase, airline crew strike just to name a few). As such, airline difference is passed on to the employer. They are the one to absorb the additional ticket cost for their helper's flight coming from the Philippines to Hong Kong.
